I ride horseback for almost two years. I
started as an amateur in Minsk city Zoo on
adult calm renting horses and then I have
volunteered at a private suburban stable
“Sava-line”, helping equestrian sportsmen
and riding-masters with horses from young
stallions to adult mares for an exchange to
horseback riding lessons. After that, I got
a job as a horse trainer/horsekeeper/horse
holder at the same stable, but officially
and I work there to the present moment. So,
resuming, I have an experience in riding as
well as young horses, as well as adult. I’m
fluent in three allures (paces). One of my
summers, I spent at stable camp “Friz”. I
know and can do all types of horse
groundwork: with a 1 and 2 longe lines (I
differentiate a canter with right leg from
canter with wrong leg, when horse “cross”,
I know nuances such as horse must put legs
under itself and etc.), with a rim and
surcingle using special bands with bridle
for exercise “down and forward” and etc. I
have videos as with groundwork, as with
horseback riding which I can send you if it
will be required. And of course I can do
all work related to horses as cleaning
(hooves also with a special hook), combing,
cutting of a mane, shaving, saddling,
except for medical procedures, washing of
legs, putting on horsecloth, feeding, even
harnessing a horse to a cart, etc. All
manipulations I can do on either cross ties
or in stall. I can provide videos where I
do all these types of work with horses.
I love horses and all stuff related to
them, like the smell of the fresh hay at a
stable and horse smell itself, these
animals and work with them is a perfect
match for me!
